Ed Holland has been living and teaching leadership principles since he was the captain of his high school wrestling team. He has found that although a person may be born with a certain level of leadership capabilities that training is essential for anyone who desires to achieve their maximum leadership potential.
Ed has led churches through growth and building programs. He has provided valuable leadership to schools. He understands the challenges connected to leadership when change is essential to survival.
For over six years Ed served as a senior consultant to mega churches across the country with leadership expert John Maxwell and INJOY in Atlanta, Georgia. He knows how to help leaders take the necessary steps that will allow them to grow.
Although Ed holds a Master of Divinity degree, as well as an MA in liberal studies, he has learned his most important lessons from the school of life. He has discovered the importance of learning from both success and failure. He knows how to help leaders move forward after they have experienced disappointments.
Real Leaders began as a vision in Ed’s heart. He believes it is possible to avoid many of the calamities of a failed leader. Real Leaders has been dedicated to transferring leadership principles to those who are willing to learn.
Ed has been married to his wife Kathy since their sophomore year in college. They have three children and five grandchildren. He has served as the Lead Pastor of ABT in Akron, OH since December 2006.
